Jessica Yanez, MS, RDN, CHES

Health Education Manager

Jessica Yanez is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified health education specialist with a masters in health promotion and health education. She has over 15 years of experience in renal disease, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric nutrition, oncology, kitchen sanitation management, basic nutrition and the development and execution of worksite health promotion programs. She is the Health Education Manager at Regal Medical Group.

 

Christopher Moreno, BSPH

Health Education Coordinator

Christopher is the health education coordinator for Regal, Lakeside and ADOC. His mission is to ensure that members will receive the care and education they need by connecting them with the right health educators and proper health and wellness information.

 

 

Christina Cha, RDN

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Clinical Health Educator

Christina is a registered dietitian nutritionist and is bilingual in Korean and English. She began studying nutrition at the age of 15 and applied what she learned in her life to improve her own health conditions. Her specialties are prenatal nutrition, pediatrics, weight management, hypertension, prediabetes, type 2 diabetes, dyslipidemia, end stage renal disease, gout, celiac disease, and vegetarian diets.

 

Gabriela Espinoza, RDN, CDCES

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Clinical Health Educator

Gabriela is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes educator who is bilingual in Spanish and English. She holds certifications in adult weight management and diabetes care and education and has worked in a variety of settings including senior centers, dialysis centers, and community settings working with children and families. Her specialties are diabetes self-management, weight management, disease prevention, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and malnutrition.

 

Nilou Moheb, MS, RDN, CDCES

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Clinical Health Educator

Nilou is a registered dietitian nutritionist with more than seven years of experience. She is bilingual in Farsi and English and has a passion for preventive care and disease prevention. Her specialties include weight management, pre and post bariatric surgery care, diabetes management, gastroenterology diseases, kidney disease, cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

 

 

 

Maricela Acosta, BA

Clinical Health Educator

Maricela is a health educator and diabetes care and education specialist (ACDES) with more than 20 years of experience promoting and teaching health and wellness in both Spanish and English. Her specialties include diabetes, carbohydrate counting, meal planning, disease prevention, hypertension, dyslipidemia, weight loss management, smoking cessation, Diabetes Empowerment and Education Program (DEEP), and high blood pressure management.

Kennedy Silva, MPH, CHES

Health Educator

Kennedy is a certified health education specialist holding a Master's Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Education and Wellness Coaching. Her specialties include hypertension, stress management, pre-diabetes, type 2 diabetes, adrenal fatigue, weight management, physical activity, smoking cessation, and healthy eating.

 

Talin Haroonian, MPH

Clinical Health Educator

Talin is a highly motivated health educator, bilingual in Armenian and English, with more than 10 years of experience in comprehensive health education. She is an advocate for preventive care, educating members about disease prevention and adopting healthy lifestyles through knowledge and behavior modification. Her specialties include diabetes, SMBG pattern management for diabetes, insulin pump training, meal planning, disease prevention, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and weight loss management.

 

Ines Herrera, BSPH

Health Educator

Ines is a highly motivated health educator with a passion for helping people in her community improve their health. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she has more than 5 years of experience working with individuals to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors and disease prevention practices. Her specialties are diabetes, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, basic nutrition, carbohydrate counting, calorie counting, and stress management.
